Is global warming a hoax?
Actually it might be. The claim that the arctic ice fields are diminishing is entirely true, they have lost 7% of their ice mass since 1980. Often overlooked and never reported by the media however is another fact, Antarctic ice has increased over 43% since 1980 more than making up for the loss in the Arctic sea and actually enough to lower sea levels, the opposite of what is feared and taught by many media and science organizations.
Geoengineering is being considered by many governments led by the UN to cool the earth, but natural cooling processes have been documented and proven to already be happening. The earth is getting cooler, not warmer. Another interesting fact is that scientists are not the largest proponents of global warming, many are afraid that it has been shown as fact by the media when in fact it is just a theory, and much less proven than the theory of gravity. Study results are hand-picked and modified to fit a predetermined solution which is that man made emissions are responsible for dangerous global temperature rise. Notice how the term “global warming” has been put to the side and “climate change” is now the hot topic. Also look at who constantly brings up this subject, politicians notably Al Gore, and the mainstream media. Al Gore “An Inconvenient Truth” has been proven to be rife with inaccuracies and is considered by UK courts not as a documentary, but as political indoctrination and not suitable to be shown in schools as learning material, and even then must be provided with a disclaimer.
A UK court found at least eleven instances where Al Gore blatantly lied or supplied false and misleading information. You can view one of his prominent shots of Arctic ice fields in the “documentary” in the Hollywood movie “The Day After Tomorrow”. It is the computer animated opening sequence to the movie. The next step is to look at the solutions that are offered by these people which are invariably higher taxes including the newly propose carbon tax which will tax each American over $6,000 for basic bodily functions such as passing gas and burping on top of other gas and environmental taxes. Who benefits from this? At this point it is much easier to prove their facts wrong than it is to support them, which makes me believe it may be a hoax, another reason to tax people and incite fear. All I really know is that this year we had the greatest snow on earth and record amounts of it extending the ski season for months.
Even if it is true, it is not an excuse for increased taxes and restrictions of freedom, just time to move away from oil and CO2 producing forms of energy. There are plenty of solutions that could be implemented easily and quickly if this truly was a worldwide disaster. If everyone stopped driving for a week and combined that money saved on gas into solar panels every coal plant in the world would shut down permanently. One week.
